January 4th, New Moon, New Year

The New Moon on Tuesday, January 4th, is an excellent day to commit to those New Year's intentions. In fact, it's far better than New Year's Day itself.

Why? Because things initiated at New Moon are supported by a rising life force, more likely to bear fruit than anything commenced at another time in the month. Coinciding with an eclipse (breaks us loose from old ways of doing things) and a rare conjunction of Jupiter and Uranus (expanded potential for genius), it's a great time to dream up (this conjunction is in Pisces) bold innovative projects.

Make wishes and set intentions to do with: goals, ambitions, competence and recognition, perseverance and self-discipline. For example: "I want to achieve my goal of ____ , with all the perseverance and self-discipline I need."

Write down your own, best done on the 4th or 5th, and put it where you will see it often.
